Merry Blogmas – December 3rd
It’s the time of year where you can’t escape Christmas music.Β It’s on the radio, TV, stores, and pop-ups on the internet!
There are songs that are FAVORITES and some that are absolutely cringe-worthy!
I spent many years in radio playing Christmas music – so much that I think I’ve heard enough of it for several lifetimes over.
But when it’s time to reflect on Christmas I tend to turn to the classics.Β Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Perry Como, Frank Sinatra.Β Timeless and synonymous with the feelings that go with Christmas.
I’ll be happy if I never hear “Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer” ever again!Β True!Β Haha!
I love Christmas music from Elvis, John Lennon, Brenda Lee, Jim Reeves, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, and Pentatonix.
So … for todays Merry Blogmas … What are your FAVORITE Christmas songs?Β What are the Christmas songs that are like nails on a chalkboard?Β Post yours in the comments below!

P.S. Tomorrow it’s all about your FAVORITE Christmas cookies! So get ready for tomorrow’s Blogmas! π

If you haven’t heard Pentatonix with their version of “Hallelujah” – enjoy!
I Absolutely Love Hallulah #1! I was in the Choir in High School…lots-of-Memories! My Sister & Brother-in-Law used to sing in the Choir in their Church βͺ I remember going there with my Family! I always loved Christmas music πΆ in churches! My husband got me into more Classical as well, like Bach, Handel, Pachelbel, Love π
Thank you Jacque!π
βOh Holy Nightβ…favorite. It gives me chills every time. Dogs barking to βJingle Bellsβ and βGrandma GotRunOver By a Reindeerβ I can live without.
Oh Holy Night, by my church choir at midnight mass.
