Hello, I am a 3rd-5th self contained teacher in Missouri. We are a new classroom in our building this year, so anything and everything helps. ❤️

Hi! I am a teacher in Round Rock, TX and I am shooting my shot (probably in the dark) to ask for your support. I am working to build my classroom library with books that are a true representation of diversity with respect, empathy, understanding others’ unique qualities and different cultural backgrounds. Being a teacher, I have limited funds to spend on books & while we have books in our campus library, I don’t have access to all of the books I need. If you read this and feel inclined, I would love for my list to be shared. I appreciate all y’all do for teachers!
    Love, Madison Sterling

I work for the new Virtual school in my county. Last year was our first year, and we had minimal funding to run our school, so we are very low on supplies going into year 2. This year, I am Library and STEM. Since we are virtual, we have no physical library collection. We have access to a few county purchased ebooks, but if we qant more we have to purchase them with school funds. I am trying to build my program from scratch. I want to do a read aloud in Library that will connect STEM projects. However, I need books and I have to send home STEM supplies to ensure equity for all students. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for doing this and for supporting teachers and students! It’s so appreciated! My name is Katie and I am a NYC public school teacher. I have been teaching for 15 years (mostly 2nd and 4th grades) but this September I will be moving to a new 1st grade classroom! 🤗 Our class ✨wish list✨ will help bring exciting activities, organization, and books to the classroom. Thank you for your help making this school year fun ! 📚💜🥳

This is soooo kind!! Thank you for even thinking of teachers during this time. I’m a 4th grade ELA teacher in Texas. I love love love this profession and my heart just can’t stop chasing this passion. However, the stress/nerves are very real as we see supplies being put out in stores so “early”. 😂 Wishing all of the teachers in these comments a blessed and better year 💛

    Hey Jacque,

First, thank you so much for putting the teacher wishlists out there. Every little bit doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated.

I’m going into my 5th year in education. I teach 3rd grade English Language Arts and Reading at a small Northeast Texas school. This is the first year I’ve ever created a wishlist for people to donate items to my classroom. I’ve always purchased things for my students and I out of my own income but with the increase in price on everything now it’s becoming difficult. I have an hour round trip commute to my rural school so everything I would normally spend on supplies is going toward gas to get there.

My students and I are truly grateful for every donation that can be made.

Help me clear my list, please! I want to give my kindergarten students all that the world has to offer! I teach in a Title 1 building with a highly diverse population and low socioeconomic status. Many of my students and their families face many challenges, obstacles, and barriers in their daily lives. When my students are in my classroom, I want them to just be kids who do not have to think about anything other than learning while having fun! Help make the kindergarten experience a great one for my littles!

I am a K-5 earth science teacher for 1,013 awesome students. I am new at my school and do not yet have the outdoor learning resources that we need to begin our projects. A garden is not a traditional learning space but it makes an amazing classroom. It is a place to explore science, math and reading while children soak up the sunshine. Our kids need a chance to stop and wonder about the world around them. Please help us get the materials that we need.

This is my second year in 4th grade. I am currently building my 4th-grade library and materials that are age and grade-appropriate. I teach in a large urban school district in Grand Rapids, MI where most classroom materials and supplies are the responsibility of the classroom teacher. The school that I teach at is an environmental-themed school. I appreciate all of the support for my students!

I’m a special education teacher at a title 1 school in NYC ! Last year I taught fully remote and I know that my students definitely need some extra supplies this year. Between not being able to share and always lugging things back and fourth between school and home, I know some things may have gotten lost along the way! Would love any help to make this crazy year the best it can be for my students first graders!! Thank you!!

Hi, I’m Dawn. I teach 1st grade at a NYC public school in the Bronx. Last year I taught my fully remote class from my classroom. It was an extremely difficult year for all of us. I am looking forward to being in person this year but know that it may be an even more difficult year because most of my students have never been in a classroom. I want this to be an amazing year for my new class and would appreciate any help in making my classroom a safe, welcoming and fun place for my 2021-2022 First Grade Family. Thank you.

Hi! I’m a Special Education Teacher from Virginia, and I work with students in grades 1-3. I’ve been teaching for 15 years. I’m trying to make a calm down corner in my resource room for any student to use whenever they need a break. My link is actually a wedding registry in hopes that if people cannot donate an entire item, they’d be interested in crowd funding part of an item! THANK YOU for supporting teachers! Special educator here, starting a new job w/ K-2. I donated almost all my books from my last job because they were all for much older kids–I’d been teaching grades 4 to 7 for the last 8 years. My biggest goal at the moment is to build a new library w/ diverse representation & SEL themes. Thank you so much for your consideration and kindness!

My dear friend has posted a wishlist. She teaches Pre-K and there are a lot of extra expenses with Covid now. She’s a Lumbee/Cherokee Native at high risk looking to keep herself safe. Any help would be appreciated. They ran out of even hand soap last year. Because of coronavirus the children cannot use the drinking fountains and teachers have been purchasing all of their students water. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
