…good grief it’s almost here! THANK YOU all for such wonderfully sweet messages! I’ve always remember that when we reach 50 years old it’s a much more confident time in our life…so that’s something I would seriously be happy to have happen!
During this COVID-19 time – we’ve been at home since March 13th. Theresa and I have left only 3 times – to pick up her things at her school, to pick up an order at Target and one at Best Buy. Jim has been back to work at since the end of June as things slowly started opening back up here in Pennsylvania. One of the main things for me is that in our area we still have cases popping up – and I’m considered high-risk due to my severe asthma – plus my health took a spiral since last year when my mother and my mother in law both passed. I’ll share more with you on that tomorrow.
So, like everyone else during this time, my hair has grown like a weed and the gray hairs have decided to sporadically sprinkle their way across my head. Why can’t I be lucky like the ladies who get those lovely solid streaks of white/gray hair?!?! I think it’s gorgeous! If I had that type of of solid streak I would absolutely keep it!
Well, since my gray hair is in random areas all over my head – I don’t want to go into my 50th birthday with them! Since I’m high-risk, I’m not comfortable yet with going to a salon for 3 hours to get my hair done…even though I know many salons are taking rigorous safety steps. So I’m going to color my hair tomorrow here at home! I use to do it all the time – so I’m going to give it a whirl. I was inspired by the Eva Longoria commercial showing her grey hair growth – so I bought the same hair color – L’Oreal Excellence. Wish me luck that I get those stubborn grays covered properly!
QUESTION: Is it GRAY or GREY when we’re talking about hair???
Then, the next feat will be CUTTING my hair!!! It’s grown like crazy since March! I thankful that I cut off about 4” in February or I’d look like Cousin It by now!

Oh…and since we had Hurricane Isaias which has turned into a tropical storm come through our area last week – we have a tree that fell across our driveway! With all the emergencies of trees downing electrical wires, those that fell on houses, and flooding in the Philadelphia area – tree cutters are busy and hopefully will be getting here this week to take care of it.

The funniest thing happened yesterday, the Amazon delivery driver called to say he couldn’t deliver a package because a tree was down. I so badly wanted to ask him if he’d move the tree for me.
Also, has anyone else’s sleep patterns completely been derailed since the start of the pandemic??? I’ve always been a night owl – but now I can’t go to sleep until the sun comes up. It’s out of hand!
Going to go prep the bathroom to color my hair tomorrow! See you then!
💜 Jacque

I used to do my hair myself all the time, I’m sure you’ll be fine. I’ve left my house once last Thursday for Drs appt and that’s since it began. I’m on oxygen have copd and have had lung cancer but I’m ok right now. Don’t take chances, I wouldn’t have gone then but they made me. Pray this gets over very soon. Have a Happy birthday Jacque have a photo of your hair next time. God bless you and your family.
Jacque, I think “gray” is American and “grey” is British…way cool and jolly good. LOL!
