Today, I accomplished absolutely nothing. I’m upset at myself – BUT I’m not going to allow that feeling to grow. We need to remember to give ourselves grace when things don’t go as we had hoped.
My anxiety is on overdrive. I’m exhausted. I’m worried. This pandemic keeps wearing me down. I want all of us to be safe and healthy this year. I need to find a way to channel this fear and frustration into something positive for myself and my family…but whenever it hits…I sleep.
However, this time, instead of berating myself that I wasted the day – I’m allowing myself grace. I’ll say that I needed the rest and the time to process my worries – and I’ll be better equipped to accomplish some important things tomorrow.
Allow yourself grace to accomplish the things you need to do – we’ll get things done – sometimes in small steps – but we’ll get it done together.
Hey! I just realized that this means I did accomplish my goal I set last night to get this blog posted by at least 10pm Eastern. So…I’ll take that as a win for the day!
