What will be on your Thanksgiving table?

In preparation for the giant Thanksgiving feast (and dreaming about yummy leftovers) — I was curious, what will be on your table this Turkey Day?

So many of us may have the traditional fare – but there are always some unexpected twists and turns when you go to another families Thanksgiving Day meal.

What will you be eating?

What are your appetizers, drinks, salads, sides, main dishes, breads, desserts…tell me EVERYTHING!!!

What’s your FAVORITE item out of all of them? (My homemade Pumpkin Pie AND homemade cranberry sauce!)

Is there anything you WILL NOT eat at Thanksgiving? (For me…Sweet Potatoes & Green Bean Casserole.)

Do you have any special cooking tips or entertaining advice to make the day go a little smoother? (I think we all could benefit from taking a couple deep breaths when things get stressful! And when that one relative/guest is on your last nerve!!!)

Time to run to the store for a few more things!!! I almost forgot black olives! It’s a MUST that you put one on all 10 of your fingers! 😄 Right???

Happy Pre-Thanksgiving!

Nom Nom,

Jacque 💜

Unfortunately, I will be home alone as I’m not well. Good catch movie day! Happy Thanksgiving, Jacque

Turkey, dressing, macaroni and cheese, green beans, apple pies and rolls.

All the usual culprits. I really enjoy my homemade cranberry sauce. Every year I make a special cheeseball for an appetizer and all around snack. I can’t stand olives, mushrooms, tomatoes or artichokes.

In addition to our usual favorites, I’m trying a new side, artichoke au gratin. Sure hope they like it!

gosh, i’m boring LOL. i will be having the usual stuff; turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, cranberries, rolls, pumpkin pie. tea or diet coke to drink. my favorites would be the dressing and potatoes. i love later in the day, in the evening to have a nice hot tea and pumpkin pie/whipped cream, sitting in the dark and the quiet. my mom always made a date pudding that she topped with a warm creamy icing. Oh man did i love that and miss it. i have the recipe but kind of afraid to try to make it. i will privately tell you my plans for the day. i wish you and yours a wonderful happy thanksgiving. Jacque, i am thankful for you !
