Thank you…

by Jacque Gonzales

…so much for your messages about my sexual harassment.  I’m truly humbled.

Like many of you mentioned – most of us go through some sort of harassment at one time or another – some men have as well.

One of the most important things we can do it to help someone who feels victimized.  Sadly there are many people who will feel embarrassed or alone to tell anyone.  We need to find a solution to help those people.

Threats and intimidation are horrible things to worry about in addition to fearing for the loss of your job.

I got a lot of support during that time – I was only 18 years old – BUT I also got a lot of “Why didn’t you just let it go?”.

Yes, really.

I’m sad to say that will be said to others who want to speak out about something they’ve been through.

So why didn’t I “just let it go?”…

Letting it go was NOT AN OPTION.

Letting it go would continue to ENABLE PREDATORS.

Letting it go sets a standard for others of WHAT NOT TO DO.

I fundamentally believe in RIGHT and WRONG – so letting it go NEVER crossed my mind.

And if anyone I knew was going through something like that I would be there to support them 110%!

We’re never alone if we have each other.

I’ve got your back my friend.

Jacque 💜

Jacque, I really miss you on QVC. For some reason QVC is not what it used to be. It’s gotten so tacky. Have a wonderful new adventure. God bless.

Jacque, would you ever consider a youtube channel for yourself? You could keep those of us who don’t facebook or twitter up on what your doing?

Jacque, I have always enjoyed hearing about you & your family (be it your Mom, daughter, hubby or travels home) while you were on the Q. And when it comes to a topic like this, as it relates to your past, feel free to speak openly & honestly.
I miss you at the Q! 😱 what did I miss that caused you to leave? I was in the hospital for 2 weeks & when I returned home, you were gone!

I always wish you the best!
