Let Your Smile Change The World, But Don’t Let The World Change Your Smile – Motivation Monday

For this Motivation Monday it’s all about the fact that a single smile can change the world.

In this day and age, there’s so much happening around us and around the world. We can allow the positive to encourage us and find ways to not let the negative harden us.

I wholeheartedly believe that a smile can change someone’s day. When passing by another person and smiling at them – you send kindness, hope, and encouragement. You never know what a person is going through, and your smile could be the boost that helps them when they need it the most. There’s so much power is behind a smile, never underestimate it’s value!

And the person you might be helping the most with your smile is YOU!!!

Now I’d LOVE to hear from you in the comment section below:

  • What makes you smile?
  • How do you find your smile when things are tough?
  • How can our smiles help and inspire others?

Keep on smiling,

💜 Jacque

I love this…always helps to 😃❤️ Especially having a Autistic Son, his Name is Shawn. On the most part he is Wonderful, but we have those days (not very often, but we do, can be tough). So always helps to smile 😃! HUGS 🤗 SANDY

Hi Jacque! Thank you for this topic! My husband and I have four children (three boys and one girl) My third son was quite different than my first two. He would have temper tantrums in public, say all manner of things out loud and just did all kings of things. I had fun with him but was often quite frustrated. I watched an episode of Oprah one day in which a woman talked about showing her children how much she valued them by her expression when they walked in the room (or something like that). It made me think about my children. My third son always had a sad expression on his face. I realized that it was because I was so frustrated with his behavior. I decided to smile at him every time I saw him no matter how frustrated I was (dealt with the behavior differently). It was like a miracle for him and me. His countenance changed. He is still busy (he’s an ADHD kiddo) but does not lack confidence. I enjoy his business and try to help him channel it in a good direction. I make it my business to greet everyone with a smile and make eye contact. I could go on, but the post would be to long! You are so right about it making a difference in someone’s day. Thank you so much! Keep smiling!

Great quote, Jacque. I can’t say that I’m perfect in this department, but I try to remember not just the positive in life, but also what is permanent and of value. May nothing diminish your beautiful smile.
